How can I get to the Lakshadweep Islands?

There are daily flights available from Cochin International Airport to Agatti Island. The flight is about 1.5 hrs. There is also a passenger ship from Cochin Port which takes about 18 hrs - the schedules vary. Or you can sail there with us which takes up to 3 days.

How long does it take to sail between the Islands?

Each Island stop in our tours is reachable within 1 day.

The yacht will normally be kept at a speed of not less than 3.5 knots and a maximum of 8 knots (1 knot = 1 nautical mile per hour and 1 nautical mile = 1.15 miles)

How many guests can you accommodate on the yachts?

At present we can accommodate six guests

Do you provide crew for the yacht?

Yes - the yacht sails with 2-3 crew.

How much does it cost?

4,000 rpes per person per day (24 hours). For an exclusive charter with a maximum of 6 persons cost is 20,000 rpes per day for the boat.

Do you provide food?

We provide small snacks whilst sailing on the boat. This is included in the boat charge

Food can be obtained at the Islands.

What other costs are involved?

1. Fuel

All fuel costs are to be paid for by the guests. The yacht departs with a full tank of fuel and is filled on return. A fuel surcharge of 2,000 rupees is payable at the start of the trip and any refund due is made after filling the tanks.

2. Lakshadweep Authority Charges

- Landing charges: $20 US per person per day

- Heritage Tax: 5000 rpes per island landed, charged to the boat and divided between all guests

- Port Clearance: 1000 rpes per island, charged to the boat and divided between all guests

3. Taxes

Govt Taxes @ 12.25%

Can I go scuba diving?

We do not provide diving services directly but diving can be fitted into a sailing holiday.
